Token Amount and Slot Confirmation
For trips announced more than one month before departure, a token amount of ₹2,500 is required to reserve your slot.
- This amount is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
- It is counted toward your total trip cost.
- Paying the token does not fully confirm your booking. It must be completed alongside the booking form and acknowledged by our team.
Full Payment Deadline
- The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days before departure, or earlier as communicated by our team.
- Failure to complete payment by this deadline may result in forfeiture of your slot. The token amount will not be refunded in such cases.
Cancellation by Participant
If you cancel after full payment has been made, the following refund tiers apply. All timelines are calculated from the scheduled departure date.
- More than 14 days before departure: 75% refund of total trip cost paid.
- 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% refund of total trip cost paid.
- 3 days or fewer before departure: no refund.
- ₹2,500 token amount: non-refundable in all cases.

The Replacement Exception
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel and you find a suitable replacement traveller, someone who fits the group, and inform us before the trip begins, we may process a full refund as a one-time goodwill exception.
- The replacement must be approved by Tiri Tara before the refund is issued.
- This is not a standard policy. It is reviewed entirely at our discretion, case by case.
Rescheduling
In unforeseen personal or external circumstances, you may request to reschedule your trip to another available Tiri Tara journey.
- Rescheduled trips must be joined within 60 days of your original departure date.
- After this 60-day window, the booking lapses and is no longer eligible for rescheduling or refund.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and is approved at Tiri Tara's discretion. It is not automatic or guaranteed.
- All rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing.
Trip Cancellation by Tiri Tara
- Tiri Tara reserves the right to cancel a trip up to 3 days before departure if the minimum group size is not met, or if internal business, safety, or operational concerns arise.
- In such cases, all participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid to Tiri Tara.
- Tiri Tara is not liable for any third-party costs incurred by participants, including flights, accommodation, travel insurance, or leave, in anticipation of the trip.
Force Majeure
In situations outside of reasonable human control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or similar events, Tiri Tara will work in good faith to offer the most fair resolution possible. This may include rescheduling, partial refund, or trip credit, at our discretion.
Standard refund tiers may not apply in such cases.
